F-86F A Paper Tiger
Here's the North American F-86F Sabre "Paper Tiger of the 51st Fighter Wing stationed in South Korea circa 1953. Captain Harold E. Fischer, Jr. shot down 11 MiG-15s while flying Paper Tiger. Capt Fisher , in turn, was shot down over China as the dog fight drifted over the Yalu River into China. He was returned by the Chinese Government in 1955. (ref 1) The Kit: This is the Fujimi kit released in the 1980s under the Testors label with decals provided by Repli-Scale. The kit was painted with shades of Alclad ll.
